Word on the street is that a new year has begun: may 2012 treat you well! That being said, you can also expect many things from us in the coming months, starting with a string of remixes that will lead to our next single, followed by the release of our debut album. We guess that makes it official now
Here’s a first remix to start with. It’s our rework of Blackjoy’s Mercurian. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
It goes as follows:

Drexciya – Wavejumper
Para One – Mother
Gesaffelstein – The Voice
Elecktroids – Stun Gun
Afropolice – Power Form
Miss Kittin & The Hacker – Life on MTV
Cybotron – Cosmic Cars
Arpanet – Illuminated Displays
The Other People Place – Let Me Be Me
Dopplereffekt – Porno Actress
Letroset – New Plastic
Joey Beltram – Game Form
Unit Moebius – Popcorn
Laurent Garnier – Astral Dreams
Para One – Les Abeilles
Robert Hood – The Core
Infiniti – Game One
Om Unit – The Timps (Hrdvision Remix)
Autechre – Arch Carrier
Well, It’s the end of a very busy year here at Grand Blanc with our man Para One releasing no less than 60 tracks or remixes and teaming up again with Tacteel for what was probably the best live of 2011. Anoraak is now a proper 3-piece band and they really took it to the next level on stage. We can’t wait to hear what that sounds like in the studio. Jupiter have released two awesome singles on Kitsuné including a rather unexpected but successful collaboration with Kassav’. They’ll be releasing their much awaited first album in 2012 too. Logo have kept touring heavily, making a name for themselves in the European electro scene. Next year should see the release of a very special project they’ve been working on lately.
STAL is also a name you want to watch out for. Launched by former M83 guitar player PM Maulini, the band has recorded some awesome music which we will proudly release next spring.
And last but not least is Villeneuve, a true music lover, skilled producer and talented multi-instrumentist. He’s recently joined Team Ghost (first album due next year) so that probably means there won’t be much time for solo releases. But here’s one he’s just completed which we would like to share with you.
It’s called ChristMass Murder.
Enjoy
Introducing the one and only Lucas, who will soon be joining us aboard the Jupiter ship! You might remember him from the Saké video, where he sported tight jean shorts and a spandex jumpsuit.
He’s now been promoted to the rythm section: starting this friday, Jupiter will be a three-piece live band, with Q on the bass and A on lead synth. Ahoy!
